As the exclusive distributor of ductile iron pile products in North America, the DuroTerra team is excited to unveil its full suite of products and services at IFCEE 2015. The distributorship has an established Regional Partner Network consisting of leading geotechnical designers and constructors who provide Ductile Iron Pile design/build services throughout the United States and Canada.

What are Ductile Iron Piles? Ductile Iron Piles are a cost-effective alternative to conventional pile systems including augercast piles, driven piles, helical anchors and micropiles.  Designed to resist both compression and tension loads in either end-bearing or friction, DIPs are an optimal, proven solution to  support foundation loads in a variety of problematic soil conditions across multiple applications including foundations, floor slabs, tension, tanks, solar, wind and underpinning.

When and where should Ductile Iron Piles be installed? If you are considering one of the techniques for your project: micropiles, augercast piles, driven piles, helical anchors; and/or encounter one or more of the following challenges: adjacent structures, vibrations, difficult access, constrained sites, low overhead, poor soil conditions.

What are the primary advantages of using Ductile Iron Piles? Key benefits include: cost-effective solution often providing a 15-25% cost-savings, rapid installation with daily production rates ranging from 600 to 1,400 feet, low vibrations, high-load carrying capacities, flexibility, easy access, minimal waste and quality installation.
